Charcot Joint

Charcot joint occurs when a join deteriorates, and this usually occurs in the foot because it happens due to nerve damage. This condition is associated with the symptoms and nerve damage done by diabetic neuropathy.

The diabetic that is suffering from charcot join can suffer by pain, and swelling, this condition can cause deformity in the joint itself.

In many cases the reason this condition occurs is because the diabetic has not been able to keep their blood glucose level under control and this has opened the door to complications like diabetic neuropathy.

This is also a condition that can cause instability in joints it has affected, making it painful or difficult to walk for many people that have charcot in the foot or when deformity of the joint occurs.
