CQ 10 is an antioxidant that is known for fighting free radicals in the body, but it is also important for  the diabetic that is using supplements in the diabetic therapy to maintain a healthy blood glucose level. It is important because the diabetic’s body is unable to process carbohydrates and the antioxidant CO2 10 carbohydrates are able to be processed normally in the metabolism.

One of the other things COQ 10 is able to help the body with when taken twice-daily regularly, is to help supply the blood vessels in the eye, which is important due to diabetic retonpathy. This is extremely important for the person with diabetes as this type complication can cause vision to worsen and overtime cause blindness.

CoQ 10 is also known as a blood oxygenater, which can often help the diabetic who is suffering from complications, because blood circulation to the extremities is often poor.
