Type 1 diabetes exercise guidelines


Exercise is an effective way to control sugar level in blood as it uses glucose like a fuel. While doing exercise you body use all the energy and exhaust the glucose which is present in the blood.  If you don’t time to exercise daily you can simple do some physical activities such as using steps instead of lift. There are many health-related benefits; to have all the benefits just do it daily. It not only control the blood sugar level but also decrease the blood pressure, improve your confidence, self efficacy and also you can maintain healthy Body Mass Index. More vigorous and more intense the exercise will help you to lead the life with controlled diabetes. If you are taking insulin infection for type 1 diabetes then it is very important to note that you have to adjust the dose of the insulin infection as per your requirement. Doctors suggest that individuals with type 1 diabetes should do some kind of physical activity or exercise for at least three to four times in a week for about 20 minutes to 1 hour.

Aerobic exercises are highly recommended for people with type 1 diabetes, especially flexibleness and strength-training exercises are more effective on them.
