Type 1 diabetes symptoms



Type 1 diabetes is also named as diabetes ketoacidosis, and is known when you are infected with an injury or an illness. Type 1 diabetes cause when pancreas slows down or stops the production of insulin hormone. Even though the type1 diabetes is not very common, the symptoms are frequently more marked and are found at the time of adolescent. Usually the symptoms of type 1 diabetes include sickness, desiccation, nausea and vomiting. Some of the other important symptoms are

  • Excessive thirst
  • fatigue
  • Very frequent urination (nocturia), both in day and night.
  •  Even though you have increased appetite, you lose weight.
  • Itching, particularly near the genital organ which is caused
  • Due to the overgrowth of yeast on the body skin.
  • May get other skin infections such as furuncles and yeast infections.

If you have any of these symptoms regularly then it is always best to see your General practitioner or doctor to undergo a test for diabetes. Usually blood test is done to find the sugar level in blood and also bring out low levels of potassium in your body. If the type 1 diabetes is untreated, it will result in many complicated problems such as comas or even death.
