What is Diabetes Therapy?


Diabetes therapy is something that almost every diabetic does, no matter whether they have type I or type II diabetes, it is important to have a maintenance program to control the blood sugar level and avoid the complications that can arise. This maintenance program includes testing the glucose level often, eating a proper diet and often includes vitamins and herbal supplements, along with regular visits to the physician.

The reason it is so important for the diabetic to have a diabetes therapy plan in place is because diabetes is one disease that can have complications arise, which can result in blindness or amputation. By maintaining the blood sugar level in the normal range, eating properly, taking insulin injections or pills at the same time daily and the use of vitamin and herbal supplements,

can help avoid any complications, while it keeps the diabetes under control. When the blood glucose level is kept in the normal range continuously the diabetic can lead a normal life.
