Glyburide/Metformin has quite a lot of side effects, though not very severe in nature. However, as with any other type of medications, the side effects tend to interfere with the daily activities to cause complications. Some of the common side effects of Glyburide/Metformin are stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea, rapid weight gain, cold sweats, dizziness, diarrhea, hunger headache, stomach pain, dizziness, drowsiness, upper respiratory tract infections and vomiting. It is possible that the side effects will worsen over time. In all such cases, it is important to report it to a healthcare provider urgently to avoid any unnecessary consequences. Chances are that the side effects, particularly the stomach symptom might occur for a few days and then subside on its own. In most cases, the side effects do subside only to come back again. It is not necessary that the symptoms of Glyburide/Metformin will manifest at the very first day of taking the medication, it might as well develop over a couple of weeks or days.
