Sage for Pre-Diabetes and Type II Therapy

Sage is not just a spice that can be used for chicken, eggs and other foods; it is also an herb that has been used in herbal medicine since ancient times. Sage can assist the non insulin dependent diabetic and the type II diabetic.

The compounds found in this plant are able to assist the pre-diabetic and the person with type II diabetes by boosting insulin production in the body. This helps to regulate the blood glucose level. In doing this it is possible to keep the pre-diabetic from taking insulin earlier and the type II diabetic from needing injectable insulin earlier. This is because it is able to assist the body keeping the blood glucose level in the normal range, along with proper diet.

The physician should be aware of the use of an herbal in combination with their medicine they might be prescribed so that it can be monitored closely.
